Q: Shipping Charges
Do you offer Flate Rate Shipping?
A:
Yes! In an effort to lower the shipping cost for our valued customers we are proud to announce the addition of flat rate shipping for all retail orders. All orders up to $49.99 will have a flate rate shipping charge of $8.50. Orders of $50.00 or more are eligible for free shipping. (Flat rate shipping is available to the lower 48 states only.) Hawaii, Alaska & International shipping will be invoiced using actual shipping charges as quoted by shipping agency used. Flat rate shipping includes delivery confirmation, however, it does not include insurance. Insurance may be purchased seperately if needed.
Q: Wholesale Access Denied
I can't login to the wholesale area...what's the password?
A:
The wholesale area is a restricted area for our wholesale shoppers. If you would like to purchase our products wholesale fill out the form by clicking the "Request Acess" link found on the "Wholesale Information" page. Once your account is approved you will be notified by email. You must have a tax identification number to shop wholesale on our site.
If you have already been assigned a password and it is not working please contact us directly.
Q: Insurance
Is my order insured?
A:
Your order may be insured by purchasing insurance for a small added fee. Insurance options are found on the main page by clicking "Innsure My Order" and selecting the amount of insurance that covers your total order amount.
Q: Wholesale Shipping Charges
I have completed my wholesale order but there are no shipping charges listed...why?
A:
You will be billed for product only at time of ordering. When your order is ready to ship, we will invoice you by email/paypal for the shipping cost. This will ensure that you are paying the EXACT shipping charges. All charges, including shipping, must be paid in full before your order is released for shipping. When placing an order through our wholesale site please understand that shipping charges do apply; even though it may tell you that shipping is free. Unfortunately, our shopping cart does not have the ability to differentiate between retail and wholesale orders. Only retail orders of $50.00 or higher are offered without shipping charges. We appreciate your understanding.
Q: Hand poured or store bought?
What's the big deal?
A:
Many people aren't aware of the difference between hand-poured candles & mass produced candles. Hand poured candles are produced by hand one at a time while the "big guys" use massive machinery and assembly lines to pour their candles. Typically speaking, the look, performance and craftmanship of a mass produced candle is inferior to a hand poured candle. If you have never tried a hand poured candle I urge you to try one. You'll be hooked!
Q: Wholesale
Does CRP offer wholesale pricing?
A:
Yes, we do. Please see our Wholesale Info page for terms and details. If you have any questions please email us at countryroadprim@aol.com.
Q: Paraffin vs. Soy?
Which wax is best...paraffin or soy?
A:
This seems to be the million dollar question!
CRP uses paraffin wax for their candles. Many debates have been argued over the pros and cons of soy & paraffin. There are a lot of claims out there that one is better than the other, however, CRP maintains it is merely a question of preference as both waxes produce very nice and strongly fragranced candles.
Q: Order Tracking
Am I able to track my orders from Country Road Primitives?
A:
Absolutely! Customers who have setup a username and password during checkout will be able to look up their order tracking information.
Q: Craft Shows
Will Country Road Primitives be at any craft shows this season?
A:
Country Road Primitives will not be attending any shows for the 2007 holiday season. Our show schedule for 2008 has not yet been scheduled. Please keep checking back!
Q: Candle Safety
Is there a proper way to burn a candle?
A:
Yes, there is. Burn candle within sight and out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4" at all times to prevent excessive flame or smoke. Do not allow wick trimmings or other debris to fall into melted wax. For best performance, burn until wax melts evenly across container, not exceeding 4 hours. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains in bottom of container or left of pillar. Never move a hot candle. Never burn candle unattended or near a draft. Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire hazard or injury. Please use responsibly.
